i realise anne wong can blog so much....while mine is at most 5 paragraph and full stop~ (if u dun count those post in 2005 when i really, diligently, guai guai-ly blogged everyday abt wad i do everyday.
Guys and girls, if u all are free and interested (and still nvr return ur chinese to ur chinese teachers), u all can go look at my chinese blog. The link is at the "link" section, do check it out because i always do updates over there.
Thinking abt the final year project, haven really started anything, although those IAP students seemed to have finished (or rather, halfway through their project). Looking at their project and the stuff that they have done makes me, WOW. Right now at this stage i am only learning how to use the software, and not much research is being done. I guess next week should start the engine off and keep myself busy to do the project.
Now that H class and G class have combined to become the K groups, with 52 students attending lecture in the same room (the rest have gone for attachment), firstly, it is kind of weird, since i am still not used to seeing jolene stella and previous h class pple for lecture, and not seeing irene junlong they all for lecture. Secondly, it is such a huge group, sometimes u cant concentrate well.
i do feel that strict self discipline and time management is very important for year 3. Modules now are mostly lectures or practical. There are no tutorials anymore, so nobody is going to chase you for tutorial and chase you to hand in or copy or do ur stuff. YOU hav to do ur own revision and ask if you dun really noe anything. year 1 year 2 still can play arnd and "be reminded" that you have work to hand in and revision to do. But for year 3, if u play around and once u dun take note of it, suddenly u will feel that time is very cramped if u play around without taking note of the time. of course, "all work no play makes jack a dull boy", but "too much play makes jack a naughty boy".
Luckily, there is a personal bench (or i call it a personal space) for project students to do their projects, do their studies, keep their stuff. I personally think that this somehow teaches us and is part of "independent" learning.
i hope to just graduate from this course. SOON. lol.
